3. Using the Compound Microscope

The compound microscope is a refined piece of equipment, and learning how to use it in a variety of ways adds great power to data collection.

In this chapter, students learn the functions of each part of the microscope and how to get the greatest amount of resolution from the microscope (achieve Koehler illumination).
